BULLDOG SUCCESS CONTINUES AT VIKING DUALS

The Bulldogs took a short hop west to Loudoun Valley High School in Purcellville to mix it up in the Viking Duals this weekend, and Westfield continued their annual dominance at this competitive dual event before Mother Nature and the area school systems put an end to the fun.

Starting in the late afternoon on Friday the Bulldogs wrestled into prime time, squeezing in 3 dual matches with Cosby, Freedom, and Heritage High Schools

The Grapplers finished with a 3-0 team mark, winning big in two of the duals and having a tightly contested brawl with Freedom High School.  Westfield overcame their 2 match forfeit deficit and finished in a flurry against Freedom, capturing the final 4 matches after the challengers had trimmed the team score to a 3 point deficit.
