Chuck Hoskins enters his twelth year at the helm of the Westfield wrestling program, and his twenty-four year as a wrestling coach. Coach Hoskins started as the Bulldog’s head wrestling coach when Westfield first opened in 2000. During the past 11 seasons, his accomplishments include 236 dual match victories, 7 Concorde District Team championships, 3 Northern Region Team Championships, five top 10 finishes at the Virginia AAA State Championships, 4 individuals coached to state championships, and 2010 Washington Post Coach of the Year.
As a native of Northern Virginia, Hoskins was a district champion and state qualifier at Annandale High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at West Virginia University, and earned his Master’s in Education from Marymount University. Coach Hoskins has also coached football (two State Champion teams in 93 and 94) and baseball. In is spare time, he enjoys scuba diving, travelling, board games, and golf. Coach Hoskins and his wife, Barbara, have been married for 15 years, and have 2 children: Grace (8) and Nate (6).
